A Calendar to Live By

Once our son entered kindergarten, our schedule just seemed to get busier and busier. In addition to the many social and work commitments that my husband and I already had, we added T-ball, birthday parties, field trips, doctor appointments and more. To help keep our busy lives in order, I purchased a very large calendar for our kitchen. The house rules now state that everything must be on the calendar. My husband, son and I have all been trained to write everything on the calendar (or let mommy or daddy know so they can write it on the calendar.) Every evening before we leave the dinner table, we consult the calendar and talk through the events of the next day. The calendar is such a welcome addition to our family.I can't imagine life without it, it's truly made organizing our busy life much easier.
