A Catered Mother's Day Brunch

Many families take their Mothers out for Mother's Day brunch, but we bring the brunch to my Mom. With two small children, going out to a restaurant can be often be difficult so we decided to hold our Mother's Day brunch at my parent's house. I usually make a breakfast casserole and other miscellaneous goodies at home then we pack up the car and head to Grandpa and Grandma's house. I always bring over a fresh bouquet of flowers for my Mom (and to decorate the table). I take care of all the prep and clean-up and we enjoy a relaxing brunch at home. Even though the kids are a little older now and more behaved in restaurants, we prefer to "cater" in a dinner for my Mom and be in the comfort of home for Mother's Day.
