A Tree from Grandpa Ned

My husbands' late grandfather owns several acres of land 3 hours away. Every Thanksgiving, our family carefully selects that one special tree to bring home with us. That very night, we put up the tree and decorate it and think about Grandpa Ned. After we are done and are enjoying our hard work, each family member takes turns discussing something that they are thankful for. We finish off the night with reading "The Night Before Christmas" to the children.
