A Valentine's Day Cocktail Party

It all started when I was about 24 years old and single. I used to have all my single friends over for a cocktail party on Valentine's Day night. The theme was always wine and chocolate. Now that I've been married for two years, the single requirement has gone away, and my husband and I host a cocktail party on the weekend nearest Valentine's Day. (We reserve Valentine's Day evening for our own private dinner.) We typically have 8-12 friends (both single and not) over for chocolate martinis, wine and fancy chocolates. I decorate the table with red linens and sparkly hearts. Everyone (at least the women) enjoy getting dressed up for a fun evening out with friends.
