Back to School Tradition (with Chocolate Chips)

Since my first child started kindergarten I have always taken the day off from work so I can make the day more special. We start the day with a big homemade breakfast, I take the kids photos and both my husband and I drive them to school together. The kids always get to choose what they want for their brown bag lunch. I spend the afternoon baking chocolate chip cookies so they're warm when the kids get home from school. We end the day with a great family meal and talk about the day.
