Barn Dance

We live on a farmette with a few barns that we do not use for farming purposes. Several years ago we decided to turn our annual family reunion into an annual Hoe Down and Barn Dance. We wrap the barn rafters in Christmas lights, roast a pig, have an all-afternoon water balloon fight and dance the night away. Cowboy hats and boots are of course a necessity. The boring family reunion we use to dread has turned into a grand occasion and is fun for all.
