Compliments Only Please

After getting tired of hearing moans, groans and complaints from my three teenagers about the meals, my husband and I instituted a "no complaints" rule at dinnertime. Anyone who complains about what is being served must do the dishes that night. Not only has it taught my children to be more appreciative, but it's created a more positive dinner table discussion. Occasionally they end up doing the dishes by themselves, but in general, the rule has been successful in meeting its goal.
