Cookies Made with Love

My entire family spends Valentine's Day evening making and decorating heart-shaped sugar cookies. When my kids were small, my husband or I would bake the cookies and they would decorate them, but now they're older they participate in the whole process from rolling the dough to getting them out of the oven. I always make sure we have pink and white frosting and lots of toppings like sprinkles, conversation hearts, nonpareils and edible sparkle gels. After we're done, we gorge ourselves on delicious cookies and exchange family Valentine's.
