Determining the Date for Easter
Since Easter is one of the major holidays that many people celebrate, I thought it would be helpful to explain how to determine the date for Easter. Unlike Christmas that falls on December 25th every year, Easter can vary in date by over a month! It can fall on any Sunday from March 22nd to April 25th.
In short, Easter falls on the Sunday after the first full moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox (March 21st). While that sounds rather simple, the long version is much more complicated. Rather than trying to explain, I've included a link to the long and confusing explanation.
