Drawing Names for Christmas

It may be a small tradition, but one of the things we do each year when we're gathered for Thanksgiving dinner is draw names for our Christmas gift exchange. We get out a big bowl from the kitchen cupboard and everyone writes their name on a small piece of paper that is thrown in the bowl. We pass the bowl around the room and each pick out a name. The big trick is to keep the name a secret, but still find a way to get gift ideas without giving away who's name you have.
