First Day of School Breakfast Tradition

We started a family tradition a few years ago that we go out to breakfast on the first day of school and then I drop the kids off at school rather than making them take the bus. Even though everyone has to get up a little earlier, no one seems to mind because we have fun and enjoy talking about what the new school year might bring.
