Homemade Wrapping Paper Made with Love

While commercial gift wrap is all pretty with pictures of Santa, snowmen and polar bears it just doesn't measure up to the homemade wrapping paper that has been a tradition at our house. Ever since my kids were old enough to dip their hands in paint and make a mess on big rolls of paper, we've been creating our own custom Christmas wrapping paper. Since we're now in our seventh year, I've assembled quite the assortment of paints, inks, stamps, stencils and such. It's a great Christmas tradition that we all enjoy, not to mention, it's cheaper and more fun than the buying the printed paper from the store. All the recipients look forward to receiving their gifts in the custom decorated gift wrap. In fact, the paper itself is often a bigger hit with Grandparents than the gift inside. Each piece of gift wrap is an original work of art created with love.
