Make Sure Santa Was Here

When I was a little girl we weren't allowed to go downstairs until my Dad checked to make sure that Santa showed up. He would make us wait at the top of the stairs. After he checked to make sure everything was in order, he'd call up to us and we would run down the stairs at top speed to see the big pile of gifts.
