Our Anniversary Tradition |

My husband and I have been married for four years. Every year on our wedding anniversary we celebrate by taking the day off from work (if it falls during the week). We spend the day together doing things we enjoy (kayaking, biking, bumming around town, visiting our favorite coffee shop) then we have dinner at our favorite restaurant and go home and watch our wedding video. We always have a blast watching all the footage from our wedding day. The ceremony is always a good reminder of our vows and the reception is so much fun to watch. Tradition Comments
I've always taken a vacation day on my birthday so I could enjoy the day alone doing something fun. I just told my husband about this tradition and we both agreed it would be a great way to spend our anniversary. With three kids we just don't have time to ourselves. I think by both taking the day off we can enjoy a fun and relaxing day together that will allow us to remember how special our marriage is to both of us. I'm looking forward to February 7th already.
