Postcards from Dad

When my husband goes away for a business trip he always take the time to send postcards back to our two children. While they don’t like to see their Dad leave, they always look forward to his postcards. Not only are the postcards a personal note from their Dad, but they also include interesting photos of far away places. For example when Jim was in Seattle, he sent a postcard of the Space Needle. When he was in Denver, he sent a postcard of the Rocky Mountains. The photos help the children learn more about new places and help spark some interesting discussions. We’ve even decorated an old shoe box to keep all the postcards in one safe place. (Note: Jim picks up most of the postcards from the airport on the day he lands, unfortunately, he doesn’t get to do much sight-seeing on during business trips.)
