Saturday Morning Donuts

It's always been a tradition in our house to get fresh bakery every Saturday morning. The kids all put in their "orders" on Friday evening before bed. Sometimes it's a chocolate donut with sprinkles, sometimes two chocolate chip cookies or maybe a cream-filled long john. Whatever strikes their fancy is allowed for our Saturday morning donut day. My husband wakes up early and picks up the donuts so the bakery and orange juice are ready when the kids wake up. Everyone looks forward to the sweets and conversation of lazy Saturday morning breakfast at our house.
