Seeing the First Robin Means Spring is Here

In our family it's always a treat to see the first robin of spring. Everyone keeps a close eye as the snow starts to melt and the air starts to warm for the telltale sign that spring is here again. We even have "robin hunts" if no one spots a robin by the first day of spring, that means we all pile in the car and drive around to see if we can spot our first robin. We always end the ride with a trip to get ice cream to celebrate that warmer days are ahead.
