Start a Girlfriends Tradition
Make your next girlfriend get-together more fun than ever. Of course, it's always fun to just get together and chat or go out to dinner, but sometimes you just want to take it a step further and make it a party! Try shaking things up once in awhile with the list of fun Girlfriend Get-Togethers.
Tea Party - Have the girls over for sandwiches and tea. It's also a great excuse to use all the cute dishes that are hidden in the back of your cupboard.
Pajama Party - Kick your family out of the house for the night and invite your best pals over for a sleep-over. Stay up late, gossip and watch movies. (Plus, it's a good excuse to go out and buy a cute pair of PJs.)
Board Game Party - How 'bout a game of Monopoly, Scattergories or Pictionary for the girls?
Pamper Yourself Party - Do each others hair or nails. Schedule a masseuse to come over and do 15-minute massages, everyone can split the cost.
PMS Night - Have the girls over for Popcorn, Movies and Soda (or Pampering, Munchies and Socializing). Rent a bunch of chick-flicks and hang out with your friends.
Celebrate One Another - Have a friend that's done something special? Honor her with a special celebration centered around her.
Holiday Gift Exchange - Celebrate the holidays together and everyone goes home with a small gift. Leave it open or have a theme: an ornament exchange, crazy socks, slippers, etc.
A Cocktail Party - Get some fruity drink recipes to try out on your friends.
Have a Dance Party - Crank up your favorite tunes and get silly on the dance floor. (You might want to move the furniture out of the living room to make room for lots of fun.) Consider hiring a dance instructor to come show you some new moves.
A Picnic in the Park - Pack up the picnic basket, grab a blanket and get outside. This party is especially appreciated after a long winter.
A Swap Party - Host a clothing, accessory, book or housewares swap party. It's a great way to get rid of your gently used items and get some cool new things in return.
Craft Night (or Day) - Spend some quality time together crafting with your friends. It's a great time to catch up on your scrapbook, jewelry making or painting.
Death by Chocolate Event - Invite everyone over for a chocolate-themed event. Ask everyone to bring their favorite chocolate dessert. Find a local chocolatier and order up some fancy truffles.
Wine and Cheese Tasting - Ask the girls to bring a fancy cheese and a bottle of wine.
