Sugared Cereal Traditions

When I was a little girl, my Mom would never let me have sugared cereal. Instead we had a fully stocked cupboard of "healthy" breakfast foods, except on my birthday. The week of my birthday my Mom would let me choose my favorite box of sugared cereal from the grocery store. Boy, how I treasured every bite of that cereal until it was gone.
