Thanksgiving Dinner Ornament Exchange

Every Thanksgiving, as our family sits down to eat the feast we begin by exchanging Christmas ornaments. Not just any ornaments, but ornaments symbolizing something significant that happened that year. For example, we bought a new house so an ornament of a front door with the sold sign was given or my daughter learned to read so she received an ornament of a bear reading books. Of course we always make sure to put names and years on the ornaments and now we have a lovely tree filled with years of sentimental ornaments! It's a blast anticipating what type of ornament you're going to receive every year, not to mention all the memories recalled while puting the tree up!
