Thanksgiving Prayer

Our family developed a tradition several years ago where we take turns saying the Thanksgiving prayer. We select the person that will say the prayer at the dinner the year before. We've had everyone from my 79 year-old Grandfather to my 6 year-old niece. Each person takes their job very seriously and prepares a special prayer. Some memorize their prayer, some use notecards and even a few do an impromptu prayer. However they choose to prepare, we've had beautifully executed prayers than often move us to tears.
