The Night Before Christmas |
Every year since I can remember my Dad reads the entire family "The Night Before Christmas" on Christmas Eve. After we eat our dinner, we turn on the fireplace, hang our stockings and all gather round his Lazy Boy chair. It's become quite the ritual, he selects one of the attendees to go fetch the book from the bookshelf, in the meantime he gets out his reading glasses and we all settle in. He reads us the story and we finish up the night by all watching a Christmas movie.
