The Year in Review

Every New Year's Eve my family takes an hour or so from our busy schedules to sit down together and review the last year. We each think about the significant changes in our lives over the past twelve months and capture them in a family journal. We reflect on both the good and bad events of the year. Things like "Josh got his driver's license", "Mom got a promotion", "We attended Uncle Sal's funeral in Dallas in August", etc make it on our list. It's a great family exercise that we look forward to each year. It's also fun to read through all the reviews of the past years as well and see how things changed.
